HEYDUDE is an international footwear brand known for its comfort, laid-back style, and urban personality.
In Spain, the brand had a base of 12,500 followers on Instagram, but its posts barely reached over 700 views.
They had a great product, but not a solid content strategy. Their social media communication wasn’t connecting with the local audience.
HeyDude wanted to increase brand awareness in Spain without relying on influencers or paid advertising campaigns. Like many established brands, they were stuck in the classic funnel: great product, strong branding… but completely underused social media.
They were looking to build a community, generate organic traffic, and have an external team fully in charge of creating effective reels.
The opportunity was clear: content was the only thing missing.

Before filming a single second, we analyzed:

Everything changed with the fifth video. This is where the strategy took off.
We decided to launch a real urban challenge on the streets of Barcelona:
We asked women if they were willing to swap the shoes they were wearing for a pair of HEYDUDE Austin Lift , a model that was being promoted that week.
We showed real people saying “no” (yes, we included it because it boosts retention) and a few others accepting the challenge. That contrast, the authenticity, and the spontaneity of the street are what turned a simple video into viral content.
The result was explosive.
In just one month, we multiplied reach by 1,000 and increased engagement, proving that you don’t need ad campaigns when you have a great idea and flawless execution.
